Imagination fused with life, travel, and dreams fuels my work — a visual journal, a time machine, and a mirror of feeling and thought. Every piece is an intricate dialogue between chaos and order, between spontaneous vision and precise execution. My artistic journey began with the quiet precision of pencil drawings — my first master works after graduating art school. These early pieces grounded me in observation, patience, and the discipline of building form through the application of line and shadow. From there, I discovered scratchboard, a medium that felt like the inverse of drawing: removing rather than applying, carving away darkness to reveal light. This duality — of adding and subtracting — became the foundation of my approach.
Scratchboard evolved into pen and ink, where line became my language, and further into intricate acrylic paintings on wood, where texture, form, and color converge with deliberate intensity.
Alongside my pen and ink work, I began exploring digital art — originally as part of an ongoing vision to translate my design into textiles. While that application remains an active pursuit, this path soon expanded into a series of stand-alone digital pieces that merge hand-drawn precision with the boundless possibilities of the screen. Often rooted in dreamlike or fantastical worlds, these works channel the same imagination that fuels my paintings, drawing the viewer into scenes both surreal and deliberate — and always deeply personal. Each piece carries traces of my inner world, layered into compositions that invite reflection and connection. Digital art also intersects with my professional craft as a graphic designer, where visual clarity, composition, and storytelling are constant, guiding forces. Though distinct from my fine art practice, these pieces remain an important facet of my
creative portfolio, reflecting the adaptability of my visual language across mediums.
Beyond the two-dimensional, I sculpt hearts — symbolic vessels of emotion and connection, each piece a tactile meditation on love, resilience, and the human condition.
Photography is another vital thread, born from my passion for travel. My lens captures the fleeting — architectural forms, textures, patterns, light, and human stories — preserving them as visual fragments that often influence my studio work. My
Urban Abstract series expands this vision, uncovering “paintings” created not by brush but by time and decay: weathered walls layered with years of posters, crosswalks worn by countless steps, and surfaces transformed by rust, peeling paint, or erosion.
These found compositions, pulled from the overlooked and the mundane, reveal beauty in impermanence. My ability to recognize these patterns is rooted in the same visual language I developed through scratchboard and pen-and-ink — the obsessive study of line, rhythm, and texture — now translated from the studio into the streets.
One of my most personal ongoing projects is De Manos (Spanish for “handstand”), a global performance of balance and strength. Since its inception, what began as a creative stunt has evolved into a visual and social statement. Each image explores space, symmetry, and form while placing the body — inverted — within iconic or symbolic locations across cultures. The handstand represents my belief that our current world is upside down, yet it also offers an invitation to “Give Earth a New Perspective.” Through this shift, I hope to encourage a collective awakening toward a better, more conscious future.
At the core of all these mediums lies my personal theory of “Chaotic Balance” — the equal merger of disorder and harmony. It shapes how I build compositions, resolve visual tension, and guide the viewer’s eye. Though my rules evolve with each piece, the founding principle remains: beauty exists at the meeting point between chaos and balance.
Across paintings, sculpture, photography, digital works, and performance, my art seeks to capture that precise moment — when movement becomes stillness, and stillness becomes alive
